Mr. Arora & His Beautiful Daughter

One of my favorite neighbours, Mr. Arora, was married to a beautiful lady from last 4 years. All was going perfect between them until they both started feeling the vacuum that only a child could fill. They could not have a baby and that pain was overcoming their relationship. It was then, when they finally decided to adopt a child, a baby girl. Ria, their two months old child, gave a new meaning to their lives and filled them with happiness that they had never experienced before.

With her little fingers she used to hold their hands tightly, silently telling that she will never leave them alone. Her every little move, be it her first crawling, walking and running, was stored eternally in their minds. Many a times, I saw them going through those photographs, when she first dressed up in her school uniform, her first birthday party and her first school trip.

She became their inseparable part, without actually being a part of them. And, this is what that makes a daughter special.
and care, which no-one could ever give. In simple words, their

Because She Was My Favorite Teacher...

How many of you got scolded by your teachers during your school days? Almost each one of you, right? I am no exception to it either. Though I have been a sincere student throughout my school life, still I managed to attract my teachers' scoldings and punishments, every now and then. Most of the times, those punishments did not bother me much, until and unless they came from my favorite teacher.

She was a real gem, a person whom I can look upon everytime, when I needed support, guidance and inspiration. My liking for her grew even more, when she soothed me with her soft words for failing in Mathematics subject, which she used to teach me. When my parents did not understand me, then she was there to keep me going. With her guidance and support, I excelled in all my endeavors.

I miss those scoldings, extra care and understanding. Even now after so many years of passing out from my school, I send her Teacher's Day presents, because for me she was, is and will always be my favorite teacher. Do you also have teachers, who inspired you and changed your life? Have you thought enough what to present them on this Teacher's Day? Don't worry! You can send your gratitude to your favorite teachers through Ferns N Petals, with just a click. From flowers to gift hampers, you can choose from a wide range of hand-selected gifting options.

Distance Doesn't Matter

I was the princess to my parents until the silly little thing came to our lives and that was my younger brother. Since the very first day he was born, my mom and dad paid most of the attention to him, like he was some kind of precious gem in the face of a little humanbeing. I was very jealous of my brother for taking the 'princess' tag from me and wearing it without 'ss'. With time he grew up into a naughty and weirdest kid I have ever seen
with the only goal of making me shout and cry all the time.

Years passed and I got married and moved to other city with my husband and in-laws. It was then when I actually started missing my brother, his silly fights, his nonsense talks and all the foolish things he used to do just to piss me off. Now I understood that all that was his way of loving me and having fun with me. In these five years of my marriage, we both came so close by sharing every little thing, from our happiness and sorrows to our little-little secrets.

Isn't my story sounds like your own story? Do you also miss your brother when he is not around? Obviously you do. This Rakhi, tell him that no matter how much you fight and annoy each other, for you he was, is and will be the most special brother cum best friend in your life. If he won't be around on this Rakhi, then send him a present as amazing as he is, along with a beautiful rakhi. A Relation With Different Names

I was very happy when the first time mamma told me that my little brother or sister is soon be coming. Months passed and finally I got a little brother with whom I can play anytime I want. But, it wasn't like that. Everyone asked me to maintain some distance from my brother and gave all the attention to him. Slowly slowly I realised that for my parents he was everything and I meant nothing. I hated that feeling and I hated my brother.

When my brother started to talk a bit and walking on his own, then we started playing together. I used to wait for school to end so that I could go back and play with him. That feeling was good and I actually started liking my brother. With time, I also found out that my parents were not biased either, they loved us equally.

Year by year, our relation got strange yet stronger, as it gone through many ups and downs. Sometimes, we used to fight a lot and some other days we were the best brother and sister in the world. Some days we were like the best friends and sometimes we were so jealous of each other that too without any reason.

Now, after so many years, even we both have not understood that what we are to each other. And, we don't want to understand either, because we love each other and for us that is the only thing which should matter. Don't you agree? Of course you do. Then, make it special for your brother this Rakhi through desirable gifts, because this is the day especially dedicated to celebrate the pure relationship between brother and sister. Letter For My Lifetime From My Sister

When emails and texts floating these days, I received a letter from my sister which I am going to remember for my lifetime and a letter which pushes my emotions to the extreme.

That letter opened many doors to the memories, which I have kept at the bottom of my heart for so many years. I remember how we fought and we patched up. We never said 'I am sorry', 'I love you' or 'I need you' to each other and there was no space for such words between us either.

We fought, we played, we laughed, we shared, and we cried together. No doubt, that was the golden period of our lives. We never thought that one day we will get separated, but we did, leaving behind all our fond memories. Rakhi is on 10th of August and I can't wait to see what my sister would do to surprise me, as we won't be celebrating it together this year.
